In 1994, Lab-Tech, Inc., was founded by Denny Nelen with an investor group. The lab was located at 1741 West University Drive in Tempe, Arizona, and pursued its chartered goals of performing membrane switch testing for industry manufacturers and OEM's.
In June of 2000, Lab-Tech, Inc. was sold by its investor group to another laboratory entity located in Phoenix, Arizona.
In February of 2002, Denny, in partnership with Joe Mulligan, repurchased Lab-Tech and set about revitalizing the company and renewing its A2LA accreditation. Denny and Joe actively manage the business and are developing plans for worldwide expansion.
